Why Support SBH

It takes a small amount of money to keep A Sailor’s Better Half running.  Donations from the members provide the needed funds to maintain the site.  All money donated to SBH will be only for the site and not for the personal use of any members (whether staff or otherwise).   The majority of the money is used to pay for the server, domain, and the license needed to keep the site running.  A small percentage is used to offset the cost of the various fundraisers, such as purchasing the prizes for the raffles.  In the event that there is a surplus of funds, those users who have donated money will vote on how it should be used.

Sailor's Better Half hse a few seasonal fundraisers and a few more that run during the year. For any questions and concerns regarding fundraisers, we encourage our members to post in the forum. Below you'll find descriptions of some of the fundraisers we are currently running and/or considering.
 
SBH Calendar

Each year, SBH members collaborate to create a calendar that we sell through Cafepress. This tradition began in 2007 and has become one of the site's favorite fundraisers.
