We’ve made a few more changes at SBH, both cosmetic and in functionality. We have added a new skin, a new login form, a new chat option for our members, several modifications, as well as new smilies. New SBH Skin
The most noticeable is the new forum skin. Sin spent several hours making us a custom skin and it looks awesome! The new heart theme now matches our main site and she changed around of few of the old features to make them more convenient. One of those changes includes adding the FAQ info in the Help link at the top of the site.
New Login Form
We’ve also added a way to login through the main page, rather than having to go through the forum. Just visit http://sailorsbetterhalf.com/ New User Options
There’s now a chat option for members; the link is in the member bar. This private chat room is for members to talk to each other in real time. It’s accessible only when logged in to the site, but any member is allowed to use it whenever she’d like. New Modifications
Two new modifications are being added to the site as well. The first requires members to enter their birthday when registering and restricts users under 17. This will protect the site from exposing minors to anything they shouldn’t be seeing. The second will restrict signature size, so that members will be able to comply with the signature rule. New Smilies
Finally, we are adding several new smilies. This is something the members have been wanting for awhile, and we are finally able to fulfill that wish. These are the end of the changes we planned to go along with the server switch. We do have a few big things coming up in the future, but for now we have been able to complete the goals we had for the switch. |
